School field trips are typically scheduled Monday through Thursday, but we can accommodate weekend visits. Please contact the Museum to reserve your field trip in advance by filling out the form to the right or by calling 727-847-0680.

 

Groups are limited to 50 students. Groups of more than 25 students will be divided into smaller groups and rotate activities.

 

Activities may include:

 

1. Docent led tour of the museum and

     scavenger hunt.

 

2. Slide and movie presentation in Peace

    Hall, next door to the museum.

 

3. Walking tour of historic downtown New

     Port Richey.

 

Fee: $5 per student. This can be paid ahead of time online or at the time of the tour.

Chaperones are admitted free.

There are picnic areas located in Sims Park next to the museum. Playground equipment is available for elementary students.
